Our latest DW+A design concept was presented this week, just in time for Easter. This design is for a holiday home on an incredible waterfront site on the Tasman Peninsula, that features a variety of stunning view angles including Tasman Island and the iconic sea cliffs of Cape Pillar. Solid stone walls provide privacy from a nearby road, yet high levels of winter sun and light are maintained through the use of overhead glazing to the main living space. Bedroom wings are delineated by the use of timber cladding and lower ceiling heights for an increased level of comfort and warmth. Large expanses of glass are utilised to reveal the landscape panorama, when entering the large living space. ...
